Accumulated Plastic Burden (Red Line): This index tracks the gross volume of casing plastics entering unmanaged waste streams globally. It uses a normalized scale (where 2016 = 1) to show that unmanaged plastic e-waste is accumulating at an accelerating exponential rate, projected to more than triple current levels by 2026.

Ecological Degradation Metric (Orange Dotted Line): This metric isolates the specific, long-term ecosystem damage caused by the properties of these specific e-waste plastics.
